Easi-Rad is a quick and easy way to make standard radiators more practical and more hygienic. It can be added to any standard radiator and, once fitted, will allow the radiator to be lowered down in two safe stages.

Easi-Rad is an easy to use bracket and valve system which comes in two sizes, allowing it to fit on any existing or newly fitted radiator, without any adjustments to existing pipework.
Once installed Easi-Rad will allow the whole radiator to be lowered away from the wall in around 5 seconds without the need to disconnect any pipework, making cleaning or decorating behind a radiator painless.
The rotating fixings are BSI certified to a pressure of 9 bar, and the catches cannot be released without the supplied release pins, making Easi-Rad child-friendly
How do I clean behind my radiators?
Cleaning behind your radiator with Easi-Rad
Cleaning behind your radiators has never been easier. Once Easi-Rad's unique pivoting bracket has been fitted to your radiator, you can simply un-hook the top and fold the radiator down. This allows easy, thorough cleaning behind any radiator, and is perfect for any-one with dust allergies. The Easi-Rad universal bracket will fit to any current radiator with no alterations to the walls or pipework. It is lowered down is two stages, and is completely child friendly with it's key release system.
It can be a real struggle cleaning behind your radiator, but you'll have no more struggling to clean behind any of your radiators in uncomfortable positions, and no more big clumps of dust left out of sight. The Easi-Rad radiator bracket means that you can access every little gap, and clean behind your radiators thoroughly, quickly and easily.
Fitting to existing radiators
Select which top brackets you require p1 54mm away from wall, all other radiators 25mm away from wall, select tails 15mm straight or ¾ bsp
1. Mark with pencil along top of radiator above existing brackets.
2. Measure from wall to centre of tail and adjust bottom bracket to suit. When bracket is adjusted, place under existing tail close to edge of radiator and mark down outside and under side of bracket. This will be the position of the bracket when radiator is removed.
3. Turn off valves at each end of radiator.
4. Place protective cover under radiator.
5. Unscrew nuts between valves and radiator.
6. Get ready to lift radiator off brackets with some help, whilst removing radiator place finger or thumb over open tail at each end of rad to help stop spillage.
7. Then turn radiator upside down take outside and drain.
8. Once empty replace old tails for new at each end and use existing nuts with new olives on 15mm, 3/4 bsp use existing nuts.
9. When fitting new tails use p.t.f.e. tape on thread to form new seal.
10. Place new hook brackets on wall where pencil marks are drawn. This is the position for the fixing of the new brackets.
11. Place radiator on new hook brackets and rest on floor, tigthen up nuts on valves using boss white on olives for a safe seal.
12. Place radiator up against wall and at back of radiator mark centre of lug on wall, draw vertical line down from top line.
13. Lay radiator on floor and measure from top of radiator down to top lug and mark on wall, this is where top bracket can be adjusted to suit and fixed.
14. Lift radiator vertical against wall and hold in position, place safety chains on radiator lugs.
15. Use lifting hooks in top bracket to position radiator back against wall making sure radiator is locked in correct position before moving away.
16. Now unscrew air vent at top of radiator and also loosen inlet valve until radiator has refilled, then tighten air vent and loosen other outlet valve on radiator, the radiator is now back in working order.
Fitting to a new build
Select which top brackets you require p1 54mm away from wall all other reds 25mm away from wall.
1. Fit bottom brackets at height required, distance between brackets length of radiator plus 3mm.
2. Distance away from wall to centre of bottom brackets:
p1 - 40mm, k1 - 60mm, p+ - 70mm, k2 - 80mm.
3. Fit new tails as normal, remembering new hook bracket fits between nut on tail and radiator so when fitting tail 2mm space must be between nut on tail at end of radiator.
4. Fitting top brackets, place radiator on bottom brackets and raise against wall mark top of radiator above lugs on back of radiator and centre too, then draw vertical line down wall to top of lugs.
5. Measure from top of radiator to top of lug and fix top brackets adjust to suit, once secure raise rad in position fix safety chains on lugs push radiator back against wall.
6. Place safety hooks in holes in top bracket, raise up catches, place radiator tight against bracket, lower catches check radiator is fixed correctly, commission system as normal.

When lowering and lifting the radiator, body must be in correct posture.
